Went shopping with Miss S yesterday at AMK hub....1st time there....

Anyway while we were shopping there, saw alot of secondary school students & teenagers carrying bouquets of flowers, bears & chocolates walking around...seeing this scene, Miss S and I can't help but to start dissing the V-day gifts....

Me saying to Miss S: Hey, don't u think those people are very uncreative? Always giving flowers, bears, chocolates, so boring and not special at all.....

Miss S: Ya lor....Flowers are so impractical and chocolates can be given on any other days also....If it is me, I want jewellery....like diamonds....haha....

Me nodding my head: Ya, I also want jewelley....they're much better gifts.... flowers are so impractical....if next time I've a bf, I would ask him not to give me flowers....

Don't get us wrong...Miss S and I are not dissing those V-day gifts because we are being cynical or what....it's just that we really feel flowers, chocolates, bears are too common and there's nothing special about them....

I had this scene playing in my head after I told Miss S I don't want my future bf to give me flowers....

Here's my imaginary conversation with my future bf....

On valentine's day.....

BF: Kaili, happy valentine's day! (Holding out a bouquet of flowers) Here's some roses for u....

Me: (Gingerly accepting the bouquet of flowers) Thanks for the flowers...er...they're really beautiful BUT could u not give me flowers next time?

BF: (looking at me with a stunned expression) Why? Don't u like these flowers? I thought u say they're beautiful....

Me: Oh no! The flowers are really nice...(being abit hesitant) hm....it's just that I find giving flowers are so uncreative and impractical.....

BF: (cannot really comprehend what I'm saying) Huh??? Impractical??? But...but I thought all girls like these kind of romantic stuff....

Me: (giving a low sigh) Well, I do like romantic stuff....but buying flowers are such a waste of money....they can only last for a few days....after that they'll just wither away and be thrown into the dustbin by me....and they're of no use at all....so pls don't buy flowers for me next time....

BF: (still can't fully understand why I don't like flowers) Ok....if u say so....

BF thinking to himself : What have I gotten myself into??? What I a weird gf I've....she actually don't like flowers and call them impractical & uncreative....Sigh....

End of Conversation...........

Anyway, even though I don't a bf to spend V-day with this year....I'm still happy spending the day with Miss S (cuz I feel that spending V-day with friends are also quite nice)....

BUT....I hope that Miss S will find her Mr Right soon (since her tarot reading says she will have tao hua soon...haha...) and she'll have her Mr Right to spend her V-day with next year....

In fact, I hope all my singles friends would find their Mr & Miss Right soon....

Hm...maybe I should try to find a Mr Right for myself also...haha....
