today is my off day....slacking at 'home' now....Ms HT is working today....so I'm all alone in the house now....so boring

been washing clothes the whole morning....it's so tiring....got so hungry after doing the washing....I took out all our junk food & eat again....gosh...I've been eating so unhealthily since I'm in US....craving for my mum's hot soup now....

I'm going to take nap now...so tada....

lazing around in my hostel room now.....pigging out (went grocery shopping with Ms HT just now to stock up on our food and water supply)....

we had the whole house to our own...cuz our other roommates havn't arrive yet....it's like so cool....it's like we owned the whole house...haha....

Went for movie at MS with Mui & Ling today....we watched Narnia : Prince Caspian...the male actor who played Prince Caspian is really shuai....hee....the movie is really nice...I love the battle part...I especially like the part where King Peter leads the Narnians to fight off their enemies....whether it is the 1st movie or now the 2nd movie....I guess cuz the battle part is really exciting bah....haha

After the movie, went for dinner at Changing Appetites....our food was delievered quite fast which was good cuz I was famished (since I didn't have lunch)....the food also not bad....but the services of the waiter/waitress is really quite sucky....we tried to make orders for desserts after our meals but all the stuff keep overlooking us & our attempts to attract them to come take our orders completely went ignored....finally we managed to get the attention of a waitress....she came over & told us to wait...so wait we did....but we waited a long time....& we noticed that the waitress is actually quite free so why can't she just come over and take our orders immediately....finally a waiter came to take our orders but by then Mui got really pissed off & we just called for the bill....

after then we went for ice cream at a Japanese ice cream place (I forgot the name)....& had our dessert....was totally full by then....

I must really thanks mui & ling for treating me to the movie & dinner...thanks for celebrating my b'day with me....A big big thanks....I'll really miss u guys when I went to US....*sob* *sob*


P.S. Thanks also mui for accompanying me to go cut hair today....

It's OVER....my long and exhausting battle is finally over.....I can finally go out.....I can finally sleep to my heart's delight.....I can finally meet up with my friends.....I can finally do so many things......

Now that the battle is over.....I shall have to prepare for my US trip soon....

The recent disasters in China and Myanmar make me realise that how fragile life can be....

Here I am fretting over my exams which is the biggest worry of my life now....yet across the globe....people are dealing with the grief of losing their loved ones & worrying over how to rebuild their lost homes....Imagine if I told them my biggest worry now is about passing my exams....it would seem so laughable to them cuz my worries as compared to theirs is really nothing at all....

We are always moaning over things like exam stress, work stress, rising prices, not enough money etc....but all these problems become insignificant in the face of life and death...

Suddenly I realise that it's just plain silly sometimes to fret ourselves out over every little things....when other people across the globe had to deal with much more serious problems than ours....

Had a funny encounter when I went to buy my dinner just now....

Mummy not in, in fact whole family out except me....super no life...haiz
so had to buy dinner myself...anyway I was walking to TBP to buy dinner...when I encountered a super weird middle age (?) man....

So why do I say him weird??? It's because as he walked towards me...he suddenly said to me : 'Hi Darling, How are you?' and then walked away....

I find the whole incident so hilarious....that guy didn't even know me & I had totally no idea who he is...so why did he pop out that sentence??? so weird.....

At the same time I also feel abit affronted....after he walked away, I was thinking to myself : Hello, who are you to call me darling? What gives you the right?

looks like there are really alot of weird people out there....cuz it's not the first time I had strange encounters....& it's always old men....eeks....
