My Trip To JB......

JB TRIP.......

On Tuesday, went to JB with Sandy, Huihui, Emily n a friend of Emily.......No school that day for all of us...... so decided to go JB shopping......

We met at Kranji MRT station at 10am n set off from there......We took bus 170 to the Customs Immigration.......after about 45 mins we finally reached JB.....

Here we off to shopping!!!!

First Stop: City Square Shopping Centre.......

The 1st shop we went to is The Factory Outlet (did I get the name right??? I think so....)
At there, We saw a T-shirt with the words 'I Love Pink'......Guess what??? The 1st person we thought is Sandy(aka President of Pinky FC).....n we quickly told her to look at the T-shirt....but she did not buy the T-shirt in the end....Huihui bought a green Paul Frank shirt.....
After that we walked around the mall, looking around,.......
I remembered we went to a boutique..... called Issue boutique which sold Mickey Mouse products......clothes, shoes, bags.......but they're damn expensive......
At about 12 noon, we decided to stop for lunch......cuz our Miss Emily keeps complaining that she's hungry.......but we couldn't decide where and what we want to eat......Finally we decided to eat Jap food (my fav)......Hui ordered Fried Udon.....n ends up only eating a few bites..... cuz she finds it too spicy......n she ends ordering another fish(Emily ordered that n Hui finds it quite nice)......

After lunch, we continued shopping......

And my spending spree begins.......

As shown above, I bought a Mickey Mouse Ring, Mickey Mouse Necklace (dunno why recently quite into Mickey Mouse......izzit because influence by the Mickey Mouse Craze that's raging now......Maybe!)........Other things I bought are a beads necklace & Hello Kitty HP Pouch n a Mirror HP accessory.....

2nd stop:Pelangi Plaza
We switched to Pelangi plaza to continue to shop..... we had intended to take the free shuttle bus from City Square but we missed it.....n the next bus comes 1hr later.....so we took cabs to PP.... Here nothing much to shop...... abit boring.......

Dinner Time:
We had planned to have seafood dinner....but it rained ard evening time so we could only at PP to have dinner......so we ended up eating dinner at Secret Recipe......After dinner, we shopped around a while more.... cuz it's still raining.....Since there's nothing much to purchase..... we went to buy donuts at Dunkin' Donuts......the donuts are super nice......I bought 5 donuts n get 1 free......buy for my family to try.....though my family don't really seems to like it..... So after buying the donuts.....we decided to go back S'pore..... cuz it's getting late....n we had class the next day....

So, we took cabs again to the Customs.....n off we back to home......

Finally, Home Sweet Home!!!!!

P.S. Sandy & I each bought a pair of long white socks( those that are worn by Jap students)....Hui even said we're being les again...... but we're NOT!!!! we juz have the same taste.....

Shopping is tiring but fun.........

SATURDAY 17 Sept........

Yoz.....here comes the Shopping Queen.......

Went shopping at Orchard with Sandy, Emily n Hui hui....... It's been a long time since the 4 of us went shopping together...... Supposed to meet 1pm..... but I'm abit late ( can't really blame me cuz I got to give tuition before that)......n got 'scolded' by Emily........cuz my dear friend is hungry......So we went 4 lunch 1st......We had Jap food at Yoshiyoya.......

After lunch, OFF we go to shopping....... we passed by Giordano........n I bought a Snow White T-shirt.....It's PINK!!! And it's not cheap.......$20 for a T-shirt.......

After that we went to the FACE SHOP at Wisma Isetan cuz I wanted to buy shampoo.....at there the salesgirl told me their Korea headquarters no longer produce the shampoo that I've been using........ they have launched another new series which is supposedly better than the old one.....so I bought the new shampoo to try....... but the new shampoo is more expensive ($16.90.....previously only $12.90, $4 more).......there goes my hard earned money........*sobs*

There's one last time that I bought....... Guess what is it...... It's an album by Love Psychedelico........ Their songs are fanastic....... Sandy & I each bought one....... spent another $18.95........ but it's been a long time since I buy a CD.....so I it's ok.......

SUNDAY 18 Sept

Today is the Mooncake Festival....... and like every year....... I would go to the park near my hse, with my family, to PLAY!!! My brother, sister and mi would lit up all the candles that we bought........ We also play the 'Yan Hua Bang'........ really like small kids....... so big already....... Anyway we had a fun time.......

My Weekend....

After the long holidays, I'm finally back to school today.....So what I did during the weekend before school starts..... Let mi update on my blog.....

On a sunny & bright Sat morning, I had to drag my weary body up at 7am.....(how I wish I can sleep in but no.......) I had to back to school......to attend talks on Projecting our vocal & verbal image...... (paid $$$ already so muz go)....... after the talk I went to Sandy's humble abode..... It's the first time I went to her house....... saw her granny & auntie at her house..... her auntie very friendly......After lunch (I had lunch at Sandy's hse)..... Sandy showed me her photograph books..... She really changed quite a lot...... Then at 2pm, we left her hse to go back again..... to attend another talk on Writing in difficult situations..... After our talk, we went to attend our UOB ex-colleague cum our Pinky FC member b'day party........Sandy & I wore the same pinky caps(though mine with the word 'Princess' on it & Sandy's one is Haruna Hoshi) & same watches......which we bought together when we went shopping.....Yipee!! We can be twins....... & so we have been out of the hse for more than 12hrs since morn......feels abit tired.....(after a whole day marathon)......My energy level is dropping...........

On Sunday, I stayed home the whole day........but guess what....... I was really busy the whole day long..........I was busy packing & cleaning my study desk.........spent the whole day doing day it..........threw away a lot of things( used up 2 big plastic bags).......was so damn tired & sweaty & hungry after the packing....... but when I saw how my desk becomes so much neater...... I felt really satisfied...........

I'm now a true Singaporean......

Today, I went with my mum to the Malaysian Embassy to get the renounciation letter saying I've given up my Malaysian citizenship.....( b4 that I held dual citizenship- Singaporean & Malaysian) After that I went to Immigration Office to take my oath..... swearing I'll become a 100% Singaporean n I'll stay loyal to Singapore n other stuff.... When I went inside the room by myself to take the oath..... the officer is serious n stern..... he asked me to read the oath according to the contents on the paper..... then I forgot to held up three fingers...... and he gestured to me that I didn't held up my finger....Oops.... I'm really blur..... so the process is quite fast.... juz a few minutes and it's over.... Hooray...... I'm now a true Singaporean....... though I kind of like the fact that I hold dual citizenship.....
So after taking the oath (at 6th floor)..... I went to 2nd floor..... to extend my passport cuz it's going to expire soon.... in Dec this year...... so everything is finally done.... but the process is so tiring...... Yawnz.....

Last day of work

Today is my last day of work at UOB bank..... though I'm really that I can finally take a rest....... but I'll miss the people there.....esp my pretty n super nice supervisor Li-Chern n my pinky club colleagues...... Yesterday we had a pinky club outing at Kbox..... After our singing session we had our dinner at Pastamania where we saw a group guyz with a lady amidst which we think are from the national team..... n Shihua thinks that one of the guyz are quite 'shuai' though later she changed her mind..... really had an enjoyable time yesterday...... (oh ya I'll also miss the nice clerk Kim n Diana who always gives us treats.....)

Before we went off from work today, we took some pictures using Sandy's digicam..... I muz remember to ask Sandy to send me the pictures.....

My IPOD mini....

My Brand New iPOD Mini

Today I finally gotten my new ipod mini.... I bought from my sister's fren dad at $298..... got 15% discount.... quite a bargain..... but too bad it's not in pink..... mine is silver colour....... I spent quite some time experimenting with my ipod mini...... hm... finally have an ipod.... though can only afford to buy the mini one but already very happy...... I shall play with it some more tml.... oh ya I'm bringing it for Sandy to see tml.... ok.... gonna go sleep now.....or else tml don't look nice...

Feeling blue....

Today the 1st thing when I switch on my hp, I saw Emily's sms telling mi that the exam results are out.....but i could not check my results cuz I was already of my hse when I saw the sms ( I was at the Malaysian Embassy waiting to hand in my application to renounce my Malaysian citizenship)..... so I was very nervous throughout my journey to work cuz all my frenz check their results already.....

At the office, I asked my supervisor to help me log on to the internet ( cuz we temp staff don't have internet access).... so I log in SIM student portal and started checking my results.... Guess What??? my results are super lousy and I failed my units.... have to retake them.... sianz.... n waste of money.... I'm quite sad.....when i saw my results.... but there's nothing i can do..... though I mentally prepared.... but still help feeling abit sad..... but I think i slack quite alot last sem......so have to work harder nxt tym round.....
